To use any scripts you download just open the zip and
extract the .cfg file to your desktop, single-click the
file to highlight it then hold left-shift and
right-mouse click the file and the menu will pop up,
click 'Open With' then scroll down until you get to
Notepad, select Notepad then tick 'Always use this...'
then click OK and the .cfg is loads with the
instructions inside it. If you find this too hard just

Quake/Quakeworld
Cheats
Server
Password
Simply join a server as a spectator. Now type "users" in the quake console.
Pick a user playing the game and type "user xxxx",
of course the xxxx being the user number. Now search for a line
called "password", that is the server password you can
enter into the game with. Note: some people are smart and change
this password after entering a game, so it might not work, but
usually there is at least 1 person on the server who is enough of
an idiot to leave it out. Now, simply turn off the spectator
option and use the password you got. Now, if it all works out
right, you should be able to join the game. This cheat only works on servers
that allow spectators.
Fake
people
To talk for other people first you need to download [NF]Proxy,
you will then need to learn how to use it and fully
understand how it works. When you have done this you
join a game with it and go to the console and type: $\therename:
what to say, just make sure that you have a space after
the : otherwise it will look fake. If they have a name
with odd characters in it type this in the console .hf
and it will bring up a list of things so you can type
all the quake characters in the console.
No
fall damage
This is simple but needs practice, jump off a high
ledge and as you hit the ground jump and you wont get fall damage.
No
death discharge
This is a dm3 cheat, All you have to do is get the shaft
then waste all its ammo, then go to the ammo box underwater and when u swim onto
it quickly change to shaft and start firing, if it all worked
you should have lost only a little
bit of health.

Vertical
Auto Aim
Type: 'noaim
0' in the console without the ''s and it turns on
vertical auto aim. Most servers don't allow this because its a gay advantage,
I use 1 anyway because it aims at them, not in front
like you should be trying to do.
Hide
your ping in vanilla quake
Download Hardnoise's Funky Quake Name Editor Version
2.0 and execute the program. On the right side of the screen, you will see two white
dots and a gold-orange bracket. Directly to the left
side of the two white dots, there is what appears to
be a blank space. It's actually an invisible
left arrow. This is what hides your ping. Just choose
this "blank" as the first character in your
name. Finish your name as you would like. Save into
your ID1 directory.
Once in quake, execute your name.scr file and your ping
is gone!
This also alters what is displayed when you kill someone.
Let's say your name is DeathMaker and you blast someone
with a rocket. Instead of saying "dumbass rode
DeathMaker's rocket", the display will be "DeathMaker's
rocket". You can alter what is displayed by placing
the invisible arrow before and after characters in your
name. Just experiment with it. Good luck.

There is a simple way to lag yourself, just bind a key
to timerefresh and hit it to lag yourself in midair
and stuff, timerefresh gives you an fps reading for
the current area as well

when u fire grenades continuously at the end of the
round, the round wont stop until you run out of grenades.

type impulse 72 (or something in 70's maybe 71 ? :P) and it lets you
have a 5 min break. Now go through the portals and
wait till a person dies, then get his pack. Now you
can kill people but not get killed.
note: relieve break every 3-4 minutes by typing the command
2 times; this only works on levels with spectator
portals; and only works on certain servers.

Be
any class while playing as the hunted
When you enter the Hunter/Hunted level, choose to be
a bodyguard. Go into the colsole and type "kill"
to kill yourself. While dead (do not respawn yet!) change
teams to be the hunted. If it is full, you need to wait
until the current hunted leaves. When you change to
the hunted DO NOT RESPAWN YET! Go into the console and
type the name of whatever class you want to be. For
example, type "spy" without the quotes and
hit enter. You will reappear as that class! You will
stay as that class until you change teams again. Even
if you die, you stay as that class. Being a spy is particularly
fun because you can disguise as an assassin and they
will never shoot at you! Just don't feign death or the
computer will think you actually died and give the assassins
points.

an engineer or a spy in the Push level
When in the Push level, choose to be a random player class.
You have a 1/9 chance of becoming a spy or an engineer.
If you don't become one, switch teams and choose random
player class again. Keep doing this until you get the
right class you want. You will rack up a lot of negative
kills, but it can be worth it. When you are the class
you want, be careful not to die or else you will respawn
as a different class! Being an engineer is especially
fun because you can guard your goal very easily. A cool
thing about being a spy is that you can disguise yourself
even when you have the ball!

on the way out by sentries, there is a way to get by
them. Use you're special skill key to bring up spy menu

Big nail
gren
Hold your nail grenade (prime it) and wait till your
grenade is about to explode (it would help if you used a gren
timer) then just as it is about to explode, jump. If it says
"throw the grenade not the pin" or whatever WHILE your
in the air it will start spitting out nail grens at twice or more
the rate of a normal nail grenade. You MIGHT want to jump FORWARD
while it's about to explode... that way you already have a head
start at getting out of the way... also you might want to do it
NEAR a corner so you can quickly duck behind the corner.
Border1 Cheats
Join
a server with the map border1 and join
team one. As a member of Border Patrol you are not meant to be able to get over
the wall, here are some tricks to get over.
1.
Simply have one of your fellow border
patrollers be a Demoman. Now have him drop a detpack
someplace in front of the gate to Mexico, when it blows,
if you fling yourself just right, you should be able to
fly into Mexico unharmed. Now you can kill all of those
Mexicans.
2.
You have to be a demoman and when reds truck
goes into the tunnel and then comes out walk beside it
and on the side of the truck there is a mirror go right
up to the side of the truck and the mirror pulls you.
Ok set a detpack for however long and stay where you set the detpack and jump rapidly and
dont stop until you are on the other side of the wall
where the Mexicans are.
3.
You must be a spy to do this cheat. Now, let
the Mexican truck pass you and get to America. Before it
gets back, get behind it and feign. The truck should push
your "dead" carcass all the way to Mexico, now
you can unfeign and release death to the helpless
civilians.
4.
To do this cheat you have to an engineer.
Now let the truck get to the american tunnel. Quickly
build a dispenser in the road so it is in the truck's
path (before the truck gets back.) Now, stand in front of
the dispenser so you get squished, quickly respawn and
get your stuff then as fast as possible, build a sentry
in front of the dispenser. If all works right, then you
can stop the truck from going home.
5.
First you need to be a sniper. It's best to
have full power and fire into your friend's abdomen. it
should fling him into Mexico to get some civilian frags.
Don't dispair, it takes a while but it does work, just
make sure you shoot them at a high enough trejectory that
they make it clean over the wall.
6.
This cheat is the coolest of all the border
patrol cheats because it will work with all the classes.
What you must do, is after the Mexican Mobile passes into
America, hop into it on it's return trip and alt-tab away
from QuakeWorld. If you come back after a while you
should be in Mexico.
Ways to Get MAJOR Frags
1. Two people are
needed to do this, a scout and a medic. The two need to be on
opposite teams, then meet each other someplace on the map,
preferably somewhere in the scout's base. The medic takes one
whack at the scout and infects him. Now the scout spreads the
infection all over the base for the medic. The scout can go back
to the respawn room whenever he needs more health. This
tactic can serverely disrupt the enemy team's playing ability
seeing as they're all infected. Although it works well at first,
you will experience more and more trouble as more of the enemy
team becomes medics. Eventually there will be so many medics that
it will become impossible. End of Fun right? WRONG! Now just have
the medic become a scout and the scout become a medic and reverse
the process so that the former scout is infecting the former
medic and the former scout's team is being infected.
2. Here's
another trick involving the medic. You and two friends on the
other team go find a quiet place on the map. Two of you be a
medic, the other a hwguy (or whatever) on your team. The enemy
medic infects your hwguy, you cure him. You get a frag each time
you cure your man. After a while switch and repeat.
3. This one is the best of
all because BOTH people receive
frags for doing it. You and a buddy need to be spies on opposite
teams. You must find a spot where
nobody will see you or at least where you'll be alone and where there is
an indented corner. Get close to each other so you're touching and one person
has to keep walking into the guy who is in the corner. Both of you start disguising.
If you've done it right, then you should see
'The enemy sees through you're diguise! and Wait a
minute... he's a spy!
Elevator
Trap
This annoyance traps a player inside the elevator on 2fort4 (Works
best on version 2.1 of 2fort4). Do this by pushing them toward
the wall when they are on the RED BASE elevator on 2fort4 when
you are on with them. They'll get them stuck in the elevator, and
a funnier spectacle I can not recall. If you get them stuck right
at the top, they won't take any damage, and will just be stuck
there. If they get stuck somewhere in the middle, the elevator
will be ripping them apart, and they'll die eventually. To keep
them stuck longer, be a medic and heal them all the time.
Annoying
Engie
This one isn't really a cheat. I found this by fooling around few
days with engineer. Ok, this is how to do it: To annoy your own
team, be an engineer and go to your respawn room. Now that
your in there build a sentry or a dispenser in front of the tunnel. Your
Teammates are now stuck.
Invisible
Detpak
This is a cheat that will surprise your enemies. As far as I know
it only works in MEGA TF and in BAM4. You have to be a demoman.
Go over to the boxes anywhere in the map, now angle down a little
and set a det pak. The det pak will go in the boxes and will be
unseen!!! Then when some unexpecting fool comes by, BOOM.
Floating
Sentry Or Detpak
You need two people, an Engineer and a Demo man
The Engineer builds a dispenser
The Demo man puts a Detpak (255 seconds) on the Dispenser
Dismantle the Dispenser; the Detpak should float
Now if you want a floating sentry then climb onto the Detpak
and build one
When the Detpak explodes it should float there, they
are a bitch to upgrade and reload so you better make it
a 255 second Detpak.

with the axe, because you just might uncover a spy,

Be an engineer and go on a high ledge, drop a dispenser,
reload, then drop a sentry on it, now destroy dispenser
and the sentry should be floating, pop a dispenser on

When entering the game type the word skins into the
console, but don't push enter yet.
wait until the console says Checking Sounds.... when
connecting to the server. As soon as you see this push
enter, don't push it before otherwise Qw will crash,
a little bit after may work
when you enter the game one of four things could possibly
happen:
regular observer: nothing new, you just become a regular
observer like any Tf game, exit and start again.
floating observer: you will be a regular observer however
you are hovering in mid air. You can join a team, choose
class and play like normal but now your player will
be able to fly. If you want the full power exit and
start again.
floating observer class: similar to the observing class
but gravity is different, you can try again or stick
with this.
observing class: this is what you want. class choosing
is a bit messed up though, if you want to change class
you may have to type kill in the console.
this last step is not necessarily needed, but to get
more frags you can choose "8" during the team
selection, this allows you to be an observer so you
can kill people on each team.

Heavy Weapons Guy Fire
You can only move backwards, and left and right backwards
and each shout uses 10 rounds but its better then nothing!
hold 7 and fire holding those keys move around with
the arrow keys.

When you connect to a server sometimes it tells you
there are to many of that class already, all you do
is Random PC if u get your class good, if not then get
yourself killed and keep doing this until you get your
class.

Spy Invisibility
First off, this might just be a mega Tf cheat only (who
knows?) This works great on unholy kingdoms, be a spy
change your color to match the opposing team, get the
ring, then while your still invisible get the flag (princess),
the invisibility should go away, but after a few
seconds
the ring will wear off, then you go invisible, and you
have 666 for a armor rating, so you might also have
quad damage, maybe. You will stay invisible even after
you cap the flag, but it goes away when you die, I'm
not sure if you still glow when you have the flag while
invisible, you might...

Be engineer and make sure you have plenty of Emp grenades.
The Emp grenades not only blows up people but blows
up their ammo boxes as well. Let's say for instance
your chasing a someone around their base, fort, etc.

quick enough, you can through an Emp grenade in there
and blow them up along with all their ammo!!! This can
also be an annoyance cheat if you throw your grenade
into your own respawn room and take out 6 people in
the process.

Be demo man and sit by the gas mask, when someone caps
the flag, the chamber will open and you get mask. Now
what you do is get there fast, set one Detpak (255
sec). If you do it right, you will make chamber opened
most of the time. The gas masks will make you invulnerability
for a few seconds, this can be lots of fun!!! This works
on Rock1,2 & Deadlode

If you shoot the floor of the sniper loft from below
the sniper loft on 2fort5 with the pyro's flame
thrower, anybody
on the loft will catch fire (granted they are not on
your team). This can lead to people wondering what the
fuck is going on.

First of, you will have to play in a game where it is
possible to
have damage. I am not really sure if it is influenced
by AREA Damage
or TEAM Damage. Let's just say both.
1. Build a GUN
2. Shoot the gun 6 time( full damage being on) or 12
times (1/2 damage)
with your RAIL GUN.
3. Go back and get at least 130 Metals (notice: enough
to upgrade it).
4. Pull out your SPANNER and hit the GUN.
5. At the GUN OPTION SCREEN press / two times to get
the shotgun out.
6. Shoot the shotgun into the gun while your press 2
at the same time.
If you did it right it will say that you destroyed our
gun, but you can
still see it right there in front of you, or it will
blow up and you will
see a fireball on the ground. That means the gun is
INVISIBLE.

If you have admin
on a server you can do lots of exploits to cheat. All of the
exploits use 'ceasefire' which is availible by setting your 'adminpwd'
setinfo string to the same one found in "rcon localinfo"
then reconnecting which gives you a chance to steal the pw with
developer 1 for all the other ppl on the server trying to get the
pw).
Spy
Slide
I'll start off with the first ceasefire exploit we found, its
simple and easy to do. Simply be a spy, feign, and hit ceasefire
twice... you'll be able to move feigned :).
Weapon
For Any Class
You can
get the grapple hook at medikit as many classes using ceasefire...
As a Spy: hit 1, feign, ceasefire, hit 2, unceasefire, unfeign (for
medikit just replace "hit 2" with "hit 3"
since its weapon dependant. If you want an INFECTOR medikit
change it with "hit 4"). As an Engineer: bring up the
build menu, ceasefire, hit 2 (build sent), hit 2 again (railgun),
unceasefire. You can now stop the build or just let it happen,
when your done, you will have the grapple. Switch "hit 2
again" with "hit 3" for medikit). As a Demoman:
Start laying a det, ceasefire, hit 2 (or 3), unceasefire. Now
stop laying the det or just wait till the det is layed, you will
have grapple or medikit. Note: on ALL these weapon cheats, once
you switch weapons you will no longer have the special weapon and
you will have to redo the cheat to get it again.
Multiple
Sentry Gun
To build multiple sents its a bit tricky... First you hafta build
a sent (upgrade it if you want), then ceasefire then reconnect,
then unceasefire once you've reconnected. Your sent will stay,
repeat as often as you want :).
Be
Any Class You Want
This one doesn't require ceasefire... all you hafta do is on a
restricted class map just set teamplay to off (rcon teamplay 0)
then reconnect and pick whatever team/class you wanna be, then
turn it back (usually rcon teamplay 21).

Team Fortress Cheats
Multi-Sentry
Connect to the
server using the skins cheat and then if you do it right you will apear as a player around the center of the map.
Then in console type engineer and kill. Then you will respawn as
an engineer. Build a dispencer and then get the armor and ammo
outta it and suicide so that you can get your ammo pak (might have to
repeat a lot to get the right amount of ammo and armor) then
build a sentry gun and upgrade it by killing yourself a lot if
you want. Then reconnect to the server using the skins cheat and
build another dispencer and sentry gun. Keep doing this as much
as you want but build the dispencer then the sentry gun otherwise it will not work.
Untimate
Dispencer
You use the skins cheat. In console type engineer and
kill and you will respawn as a engineer. Build a disp and then
detonate when someone goes near it... it won't blow up but it
hurts the people that are on the opposite TEAMS as you so all you
have to do is go into console and type team red or whatever and
type color 4 and all the blue people will get hurt by it...

Traps
Have
you ever wanted to have more than one mag mine as an engineer?
Well now it's possible. All you have to do is become an
engineer, lay your first mine, then select another class to be (such
as soldier), suicide, come back, pick to be an engineer again and
suicide again. Respawn again a an engineer, now lay another
mag mine. You should now have 2 mag mines. Whenever
one expires, lay it back down. You
can also use the same process (if you can repeat it fast enough)
with a pyros lava pool, or any other trap for that matter.
Ghost
Air-Mirvs
This
is certainly a fun little trick you can play on your friends. In Mega TeamFortress, as a demoman, just go to the outside door
of the enemy respawn room, launch a balloon mirv and watch it fly
right through their door. You can also do this on your
respawn room if you want to annoy your friends. This
definitely works on 2fort5 but may even work on other maps as
well
Flare Hold
In
mega tf, people are always laying on the ground. If you want to
immobilize them, just drop a pipe bomb or a flare right on top of
them (or even a detpak) and they won't be able to move, at least
until the grenade dies.
Fun
with Hooks
In
Mega TeamFortress, as a spy, there are many fun thing to do with
Grappling Hooks. You can grapple onto your teammates and
cover their backs, or you can have fun and just follow them around.
Rumor has it that you will even be attached to them if they respawn.
Fireworks
This
is just a little bug in normal/mega tf. First you need to
be a pyro with napalm grenades. As you know, grenades
explode in four seconds, so bind +gren2 to some key, hold it and
count to three then release the key so the napalm grenade flies
through the air. You have hold the grenade for three secs
and it will now explode in the air. When it does explode in
the air, the grenade will drop to the ground, but the fire will
stay in the air.

Overflow
There
is a bug in mega that allows you to set hundreds of detpacks. Just
stand on a pack that gives dets, and do the 256 detpack bind over and over again, and
you will have tons of dets sitting there. Good places to do
this are canyon1 and canalzone.
Border1
Civilan Cheat
First off, you need to get in the truck and start it. Get gibbed while the truck
is heading toward the tunnel - BUT DON'T RESPAWN! Your head will cross the
border until the truck leaves the tunnel: Instant 145 frags!!
Floating
Sentry
Make sure you have
a teammate or somebody else to do this with. Get close
enought to the edge and drop a sentry on top of somebodies head.
If you've done this right, they can walk away and your sentry
will still be floating!!!
Sentry Dog
Angle yourself off
an edge and make sure your dog is underneath you. Build a
sentry gun on top of him. When he goes to chase
the enemy intruder, the sentry gun will still float.
Legless
Sentry
Ok, first you
become an engineer. You take a running start and hit the
build sentry button. If you do this right you will be going
through your sentry gun. If this happens, stop in the
middle. After you get done building it, kill or suicide.
If this works right the base of your sentry will fall through the
floor. After you come out of the respawn room, your
gun will be standless.
Sentry Pile-up
This is a pretty
cool cheat. First off you need to be an engineer, then
build a dispenser or sentry (dispenser preferably). Then
go back to the respawn room, load up on more ammo, and build the
other one (sentry or dispenser). After you've built the
other one on top of the bottom one (first sentry or dispenser),
blow the bottom one up. Then go back to the room and repeat
the process over and over again. You can keep doing
this until you hit the ceiling.
Skywalk!!!!
Get a buddy to do
this with you. Get on a megaTF server and both of you be spys.
Spy(1) grapples to the sky or ceiling and Spy(2) goes under him
and grapples his legs (make sure you don't grapple from the far
side, u need to grapple his legs under). Then Spy(1) sets his
speed to 100 (cl_forwardseed 100;cl_backspeed 100;cl_sidespeed
100) and he retracts his grapple. Then he will find that Spy(2)
is still underhim and the have not fallen. So then Spy(1) just

MegaTF Spy
Slide
In MEGATF servers, feign and press ESC and go to options and turn
on "Always Run" and go back to gameplay and viola! you
can walk around. BUT YOU WILL get kicked. Unless you have a
kickprotection.

scout
All you do is grapple the scout and when you hook onto
him change to a gun (this makes you permanently attached
until you go back to the hook) now the scout can run round
and take a spy to the enemy flag where he can unhook
and kick some ass and also, its terribly funny when the spy is
feigning while attached and getting dragged
around. The scout can also jet jump somewhere
high with the spy attached and both wait for the flag.

Slide without getting kicked
In your autoexec or just in console do this
bind X "disguise;wait;impulse 1;wait;impulse 4"
Then feign
Then goto the quakeworld menu (esc) and goto options
At the bottom you will see Always Run OFF. Turn it on
Then get back in game quickly and start sliding around
pressing the bind every 2-3 seconds...

Engineer
quick sentry
This cheat allows you to press a key to drop out a
Sentry gun or Dispenser and run off before
the Sentry/Dispenser is finished building.

For this cheat you do the engineer quick sentry then
run onto the sentry while its still building and stay
right in the middle of it, the sentry
will then finish building with no legs, now type kill
so u can run around.

legs, unfortunately you still have to suicide but its a lot
easier.

Pipe
bomb
Trap
Play a level where people can prone, be a demo man
and use pipe bomb launcher. When you see your team laying
(or
enemy) jump on them so they cant move then look straight up shoot
a lot of pipe bombs until
one looks like its on top of the person. Now you can
hop off and you will notice he can not move.
Spy
Blockade
Be a spy and use grapple (impulse 8) then go to a
respawn room which has a tunnel, go in the tunnel and
hook shot right above you (in
the middle) then quickly change to a gun so you cant
move anywhere. Now no one can go past until you switch
back to the grappling hook.
Spy
Follower
Be a spy and hook on someone (scouts best) then when
they run you are attached and you will follow them.
Scouts are cool because you go as fast as them so you get to the other base
faster.
Doggy
Shield
Be any class on a map such as Mtf 2fort5 and prone, now
lie behind a dog and now when a sniper try's to shoot
you he gets the dog, but when you shoot you can hit them
(because when you are prone and you shoot you stand up
for a split second allowing you to shoot over the top of
the dog).
